The summer is quickly coming to an end, so I’ve been trying to cram in as much as I possibly can before the kiddos head back to school. The cramming includes a family trip to Chicago, endless appointments, and a few last-minute senior portrait sessions.

Once I finish unpacking I’ll be sure to update the blog with all my adventures. And I promise I am still pulling images for my homepage slideshow and online galleries! I realize I have, like, five photos rotating through there right now. Sorry ’bout that.

I hope everyone is having a fantastic summer, and look for new blog posts over the next few days!

Senior Sunshine | Atlanta Senior Portrait Photographer

Summertime in Atlanta is hot. Plain and simple. So when we occasionally get a “cooler” day I have to take advantage of Mother Nature’s generosity. Which is exactly what I did last weekend when I scheduled Harper’s senior portraits!

At first I thought we might have to reschedule since I woke up to an ugly, gray, rainy morning. But the clouds moved through and we had beautiful weather the rest of the day! I would have kicked myself for missing such a great opportunity.

We started off at the studio and then hit a few local spots that have great color and texture. Harper is just such a beautiful girl inside and out, and she has a bright, fun personality that makes her very easy to photograph. I think you’ll all agree!

Thanks to Sona Martinez from Sugar and Spice by Sona for doing a fantastic job with Harper’s makeup! And thanks to Harper for being so much fun to work with.

Well, it’s been over a year since I’ve blogged regularly, but I’ve still been busy. I just needed to make a few changes at Eclectic Photo before starting up again. And I’m almost there!

As you can see I’ve rolled out a new web site. Unfortunately, the blog is starting from square one until I can import all the old posts. I hope you’ll bear with me as I get this all figured out!
