New Booking Fee Policy.

Written by KellyT @ 1:15 pm on October 30, 2007

Beginning in November 2007 we are going to require a $50 non-refundable booking fee for all portrait sessions.  The booking fee must be received within five days of you scheduling your session, and it will be applied to your final session fee.

Please note that we are unable to secure your session date without the booking fee.  You can pay it online with a credit card or PayPal, or you can mail in a check if you’d like.  Lately we’ve had a couple of inquiries for session dates that fell through for one reason or another, but we had turned away other clients because we thought the date was already taken.  This new policy is as much for you all as it is for us.

If you have any questions about the new policy, please feel free to give us a call at 678.860.5007.  Thanks so much!

You and Me Together = E!

Written by KellyT @ 9:19 am on October 25, 2007

We have some exciting news for our couples in 2008. We have decided to add complimentary engagement sessions to all our wedding packages!

Engagement sessions can be at the studio or on location, and they’re a great way for us to get to know each other better before your big day. That way you’re more comfortable having us around, and that means even more fantastic photos. :-)

This new addition to our packages starts immediately and will be applied to any new bookings for 2008. If you have any questions, give us a call at 678.860.5007!

Elka and Andrew.

Written by KellyT @ 3:58 pm on October 22, 2007

I don’t even know where to begin with this wedding…these two were just so much fun, and I abosolutely adore both of their families!  Elka was an absolutely beautiful bride, and Andrew had me laughing the entire time I was there.  I had such a great time, and I don’t think I’ve ever laughed as much as I did at this wedding.  :-D

I first met Elka and Andrew back in September when we met for a consultation.  I was a little hesitant to book another wedding for October, but after meeting these two it was a no brainer.  If they wanted to hire me as their wedding photographer, I absolutely wanted to photograph their wedding.  And I’m so glad they hired me.  :)

We had a few snaffus before the ceremony (including the groom’s dad giving him the shirt off his back because his tux didn’t come with one…and oh yes I have photos!), but everyone took it all in stride.  And there were just smiles all around the wedding party the entire night, which was really really cool.

The ceremony took place inside this beautiful church over in Marietta.  I absolutely loved the architecture and in a second you’ll see why.  But I have to tell you…as far as grooms go, Andrew just freaking rocks.  Why?  Keep reading and you’ll understand.

I had given the wedding party members a few tips before the ceremony to help with the photos.  I had also asked the lovely couple to hold the first kiss for a couple of seconds so I could get a good shot of it.  Andrew went above and beyond the call of duty, and I think it’s the best ceremony kiss I have ever witnessed.  At first it started out just like any other kiss…

But when I saw his hands around her waist like that, I knew what was coming…and while I managed to get a shot of it, my second shooter Tammy got an even better one.  I LOVE the expression on the priest’s face!

Andrew, thank you so much for helping us capture amazing photos!  You really do rock.  :)

The reception was a lot of fun, too.  I mean, both families were just so open and friendly, and they were all a joy to photograph.  Now I’ll stop babbling and post some more photos.  ;-)

Thank you guys so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding!  I had a wonderful time and wish you two years and years of happiness together.  I hope you had a great time on your honeymoon, and your gallery should be posted shortly after you get back!
