While Christmas decorations are popping up everywhere I go, it’s still very much Fall here in Atlanta.
I had a portrait session with an adorable couple of boys this weekend, and we used their gorgeous backyard as the backdrop. As you can see, the trees are still full of red and gold leaves right now. The colors are just gorgeous, and I wish I had more time to go out and photograph the scenery before all the leaves are gone. But for now, they are the perfect background for this family’s portraits.
These boys were seasoned pros in front of the camera, and I really enjoyed getting to photograph them. They were a little anxious to go play football with the neighborhood kids, so they’re probably the most cooperative subjects I’ve had in a while! ;-)

Now that I think about it, I wish I’d incorporated some kind of holiday theme into this maternity session! A is due December 3, so it would have been fun to throw in a few bows or ribbons. Maybe next time. ;-)
Regardless, I had a wonderful time with A and her husband at our maternity session. I am always so impressed with my mom-to-be clients. They are usually up for all kinds of fun stuff, which is impressive by itself since they’re lugging around a little baby in their bellies. :D A is just a stunning pregnant woman, and I hope her photos reflect that.
I can’t wait to meet their little baby girl, and I wish you both the best of luck with the delivery!!

It’s hard to believe it’s that time of year again, but it is indeed beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Now that I’ve put away all the Halloween decorations I’m actually contemplating bringing out the Christmas ones. :)
Unfortunately, this time of year is also incredibly busy for Eclectic Photo. I need to start thinking about my own family’s holiday portrait. My kiddos haven’t really been very cooperative lately when it comes to picture taking, but I absolutely love this shot of my son from two years ago:
