This session is particularly special to me because I have known this family for a while now. I started off photographing their wedding, then their pregnancy, and now I have the joy of photographing their daughter watching her grow. It’s definitely one of the perks of my job. :)
Baby A came in on the day she turned 8 months old. This girl has personality to spare, and she’s quite speedy with the crawling. So she definitely kept me on my toes. But honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Just look at this little cutie pie:

She fills this basket quite a bit more than she did at her newborn session. LOL And she kept making the basket rock back & forth. She thought it was hilarious! :D

This girl is always on the go, and I have no doubt she keeps Mom and Dad busy. ;)

I had so much fun with this little one and cannot wait to see her again. I’m sure she’ll be running all over the studio then, but I’ll be ready for her! :D

I hope you all are enjoying your summer so far! Eclectic Photo will be “closed” the week of June 15-21. I won’t be processing any new orders during this time, and I will have limited access to email. If you have an open proof gallery, I will be extending it by a week since I’ll be unavailable.
Have a great weekend! And I’ll be back soon with some fantastic blog posts from my recent kick-fanny sessions. :D

I know I’ve mentioned it once or twice, but I absolutely love having clients who contribute their creative vision to our session. I was so excited to get to meet G and her daughter so I could photograph her second pregnancy. She is absolutely stunning, and I’ve had more than one person ask “Why didn’t *I* look that good pregnant?!” when they saw her photos. I might have asked the exact same question. :D
And her daughter, O, is just adorable. She was a little shy at first, but after a few minutes she warmed up and was just a ham in front of the camera. See for yourself!

She loved that umbrella! She was also the source of inspiration for this shot when she brought out the wooden alphabet blocks. G and I decided to just go with it and incorporate them into a few photos. I’m glad we did. :)

And a few more of my favorites from the day…

Congratulations! And I can’t wait to meet your new baby boy. :)
