Pay It Forward Family Portrait Project.

I posted awhile back about the altF Pay It Forward Family Portrait Project, and I’m just now getting around to blogging about the photographer and family I photographed.  Sorry about that!

I had the pleasure of meeting Audrey Daum of Audrey Daum Photography earlier this month at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.  Audrey is a local Atlanta photographer who contacted me about participating in the PIF project, and I’m so glad she did!

She brought her husband and two adorable little girls with her.  She suffers the same issue so many of us photographers do:  she did not have a single “real” family portrait with her family.  We tried to get a few traditional, posed portraits but the girls had other plans.  And I was totally ok with that.  :D

Here are a few of my favorite photos from our session:

It was a challenge to get everyone looking at the camera at once, so I finally gave up and just tried to capture the girls’ many facial expressions.  The older sister was quite a ham and had me giggling with all her funny faces.  I think this one might be my favorite.  :)

Here’s Mom with her girls.  I think they were looking for fish in the fountain, but there weren’t any there.

I love this last shot because the little one was trying to catch up with Daddy and big sister.  The grass was a little wet from the rain, and you can see her little footprints on the walkway.  It’s just so sweet.

Many thanks to Audrey and her family for helping me pay it forward!  I hope you love your family portraits, and I can’t wait to see what you do to continue the project.  :)

If you’d like to see the other families photographed by altF, be sure to check out the Roadside Families web site.  All participating photographers will be posting their PIF family portraits as they take them, so it should be a lot of fun to see what everyone does.

I have to thank JMC and Dalisa Cooper yet again for getting this project in motion!  I love my family portrait and cannot thank them enough for doing this.  You guys are the best!  :)
