Who am I?
Eclectic Photo is Kelly Talele.
I'm a portrait and wedding photographer located in Alpharetta,
Georgia just north of Atlanta. While I will photograph just about
anything, I currently specialize in maternity and newborn portraiture.
So why eclectic? Because I believe it's the best word to describe
not only my personality but also my photographic style. Just take
a look through my gallery and I think you'll see what I mean!
If you look up the definition of eclectic you'll find this:
ec·lec·tic -adjective
1. selecting or choosing from various sources.
2. made up of what is selected from different sources.
3. not following any one system, as of philosophy, medicine,
etc., but selecting and using what are considered the best elements
of all systems.
4. noting or pertaining to works of architecture, decoration,
landscaping, etc., produced by a certain person or during a
certain period, that derive from a wide range of historic styles,
the style in each instance often being chosen for its fancied
appropriateness to local tradition, local geography, the purpose
to be served, or the cultural background of the client.
See #3? That's me...practically to a "T." I'd like
to believe I take the best elements from my life experiences and
combine them to create something truly unique. While I am partial
to black and white photography, I am also captivated by color.
And even though I tend to take a more artistic approach to my
portraits, you will also find me occasionally shooting a traditional
portrait. But there will always be something there...something
that makes it a little nontraditional...something that makes it
eclectic.
Photography is my passion, much to my family's dismay at times.
;-) I am a mom to two beautiful kiddos who inspire me daily even
if they aren't the most cooperative subjects. They have taught
me to look at the world differently and to see the beauty in every
day things. And I'd love to be able to capture the beauty in you.
