When should I schedule my maternity session?
Obviously your comfort comes first! But we'd like to schedule your session late enough that you're sporting a nice, round baby belly. :-) We try to book our maternity sessions between 34-36 weeks. Again, it really depends on you and your pregnancy, though, so that's just a general guideline.

Do you provide wraps for me to wear?
Why, yes! We do offer a variety of wraps for our maternity clients. We currently have: black, white, wine red, light blue, and black lace. If you have something particular in mind, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

What else do you provide?
We have an assortment of silk flowers and flower petals for our sessions. Our moms-to-be also really like the baby blocks, so we always have them on hand. We have a variety of backdrops to choose from as well as some beautiful hand-made parasols for our more artistic portraits.

What kind of makeup should I wear?
That is entirely up to you. We like to mix things up during our sessions, so it depends on the look you're going for. Light, natural makeup works well for more high key portraits, but if you're feeling a little crazy we can go the opposite direction and do something really dramatic. Most of our clients are pretty comfortable doing their own makeup, but we also offer a professional Makeup Artist add-on for our Eclectic Collection session. Let us pamper you for the day!

What should I wear/bring?
Again, it depends on the type of imagery you'd like to create. We suggest our clients bring a pair of jeans and/or black pants. Snag a white button-down shirt from your significant other too! If you have tank tops or sports bras, feel free to bring them as well. If you're going to have other family members in the photos with you we suggest you stick with solid neutral colors like white and black. But if you have a favorite print shirt bring it too. We can always do something fun with it!

If you have items for the baby that have special meaning, please bring them as well! Some ideas are baby blankets or booties, a special stuffed animal, etc. We're more than happy to include them in your photos.

Can I bring other family members with me?
Of course! Please be sure to bring your partner or significant other if you can. Even if they're a little camera-shy, they always make great assistants. ;-) You're more than welcome to bring your other children too if you'd like. Please just let us know ahead of time how many people will be part of the session.

When will my proofs be available?
Your secure online proof gallery is typically posted within one week of your appointment. The gallery will remain online for two weeks, and you're welcome to share it with friends and family. Once the gallery expires there is a $25 reposting fee to reactivate it.

Can I get a CD of the digital files?
At this time we do not sell the digital files.

Do you offer gift certificates?
Absolutely! And they make wonderful gifts for friends and family. They are also the perfect baby shower gift! Gift certificates are available in $50 increments and may be applied towards session fees or print orders. Gift certificates may be ordered through our online store, and you can have them shipped directly to the recipient for your convenience.
